The Prince is mine 1 &2

Starring: Nadia Buari , Jackie Appiah

Genre: love and drama

Overall
This is movie is a complete copycat of a Hollywood movie called the other Boleyn girl. The movie is everything but original and its always the same faces that we see in the Ghanaian movies. The story might appeal to a person that never heard of the story .There are part of the movie that are scripted words for words  .None of the actors were natural and the story line does not look like something that will happen in Africa. The story is about 2 sisters falling in love for the same man ( the Prince) . Due to the greed of their mother they both get married to the prince at some point even though the prince has a first wife.

My rating is: 30%

Should you watch it: waist of your time even though i love Jackie Appiah

Performance of the Actors: Poor

My rating is: 90%

Should you watch it: For sure maybe I'm a sucker for a good love story with enough intrigue and suspense to keep me interested?

Performance of the Actors: The performances are good. I like the highly educated Van Vicker very sexy in this movie. Mercy .. . always have my girl crying in films but in this one it's ok... it's not to much and in all the right places. The only part I don't like is when faced with awkward situations the village accent comes out...WHY??????? And my main guy Olu Jacobs. What a great actor! Another bangin‘ performance. As a matter of fact the entire cast was excellent and the story was well written. The ending was for sure unexpected but loved it all the same a must watch for sure.

BLACK MIRROR Part 1 & 2

Starring:Columbo - DESMOND ELLIOT, Cynthia - JACKIE APPIAH, Vivian - MONALISA CHINDA, Bazoka - JIM LAWSON MADUAKE, Edwin - SELE KENT-SELE and John - CLEMS ONYEKA

Genre: Suspense / Drama/ Romance

Overall: James trusted and confided in his best friend Edwin, but how was he to know that he would turn his paradise into a nightmare, a fascinating story of an enemy who pretented to be a friend, Years later Edwin marries James's wife and has a daughter of his own but with prosperity comes temptation and edwin takes on a mistress who will stop at nothing to get her man. It's a kill or be killed situation, in a world were all isn't as it seems.

My rating is: 70%

Should you watch it: I think so it's not a block buster but it will entertain you for the afternoon.

Performance of the Actors: the performacnes are good. Mona Lisa acts the same in most movies. I like her in the mother role, looking young and fresh. Hating Desmonds hair and those cheetah couches are wack. and the scean where he wears the matching shirt with the bean bag couch LMFAO. it was hard to take what he was saying seriously with such a distraction

Can't Let Go Pt 1 & 2

Starring: Desmond Elliot, Ngozi Ezeonu, Grace Amah

Genre : Drama/ Romance

Overall : This is a story about a man who can’t let go of his past and the mother will won’t let him move forward. When will he move on and for that matter with whom? What appears to be a loving relationship between a mother and her son borders on incent. Thank goodness that the mother didn’t seduce the son. Once the Son falls in love after a major heartbreak the mother faces the thought of being alone and that is when all hell breaks loose Will this mother stop at nothing in order for the Son to be all her own. You gotta watch it and see

My rating is: 70%

Should you watch it: Sure it’s an easy watch and I love almost everything by Desmond Elliot

Performance of the Actors: What can I say superb acting from Desmond Elliot, Ngozi Ezeonu, and Grace Amah what is lacking are the finishing touches on this film. And what is with that soundtrack??????? Way too much. Love the jazz but it’s misplaced in this movie. The story is a little slow in some parts. Other then that I love the emotions in this film. That is an ode to the actors skilled in this movie.

HEART OF MEN

Starring: Majid Michel, Jackie Appiah, Yvonne Nelson, Nadia Buari, John Dumelo
Genre: Drama/ Thriller

Overall:
Greed is the name of the game! Greed with money, love, fortune and sex!

Murder, betrayal, blackmail, & scams engulf the heart of man

My rating is: 10%

Should you watch it: Should you watch it? After all the hype maybe not... Then again maybe only for the Sex Scenes.

Performance of the Actors: Can you believe my surprise when I found this film online already! 9 mins in to the film and a lot has happened and none of it making any sense. This is already looking like another random disjointed Nollywood film to me. The sex scenes are random, random, and random! The actors couldn’t have saved this movie even if it was on life support. In the end the real reason the movie got my 10% was that I applaud the efforts of Nolly/Gollywood for stepping up to the plate I’m looking forward to the day that a film from Africa wins an Oscar and not in the foreign film category. Regardless of the controversy surrounding this film it was very mild. Nothing up to Hollywood standards. So I say give these types of films a chance. And pretty soon you’ll be watching Nolly/Gollywood at the local AMC!
