Holy Serpent 1 & 2

Starring: John Dumelo as Ben, Kalsoume Sinare as Mrs Terry, Dan Tei Mensah as Mr Terry, Artus Frank as Bob, Nana Akua Addo as Maya

Genre: Drama

Overall: The good book says that you shall not be barren in the land. But what happens when a woman of God is childless? How does she feel when her husband the man of God prays for others for the fruit of the womb yet you do not get to hold a child of your own? This is a story of what can happen when you turn your back on God.

My rating is: 90%

Should you watch it: Yes this is a great movie.

Performance of the Actors: This movie may have been made with a low budget but for sure the message came across loud and clear. It was interesting and very good. All of the actors were great and on point. This shows a story of the true desperation of the wants and needs of people.

Love Pt 1,2

Starring: John Dumelo as Jones, Juliet Ibrahim as Tamia, Kalsoume Sinari as Mrs Mills, Nii Tete Yartey as Frank, Rama Lik as Mary

Genre: Drama

Overall: A man falls over the deep end in the quest for love. Then a wonderful and mysterious woman brings him back to life but there is a secret. Will the revelation bring them together or tear them apart?

My rating is: 20%

Should you watch it: Not unless you have anything better to do.

Performance of the Actors: There is not much to day about this other then I hated it. Such a shame because the talent was there. Just another example that big names don’t mean good performances.

Crazy Pt 1,2

Starring: Yvonne Nelson as Aba, Kalsoum Sinare as Mama Cash , Prince David Osei as Michael, Kofi Middleton Mends as Almighty One

Genre: Drama

Overall: What would it take to have happiness in your life? Aba is in a deep dark void, one where feelings are put aside and your gender makes you a liability to the world’s demands. But a beam of light enters your life and you realize you can be more than this. Will the dark world she belongs to allow her to depart for the light?

My rating is: 40%

Should you watch it: Truthfully I didn’t really like catch me if you can and now this is a film from the same production stable. Great concept, poor execution. You can do without it.

Performance of the Actors: This movie had every potential of being great. I mean just look at the cast...fabulous. But what happened? Low budget? Poor production? Bad directing? It could be any number of things. Ultimately I didn’t enjoy and the ending was rushed. I say try again .

Forever Young PT 1,2,3

Sorry I've been away my peeps.  I'm in school and working at the same time but now I have a mini break so here it goes.........

Starring: Jackie Appiah as Latisha, Kulsume Senare as Selimat Ellen Mahama, John Dumelo as Spark

Genre: Drama

Overall: Behind the lights of extreme wealth, glitz, and glamour lies the darkest secrets to a woman’s heart. More so the heart of a mother. She will bring down the heavens to protect her child and provide her anything she wants. But what is the motive behind such over protectiveness? What would the mother do to stay forever young? Find out in this suspense filled drama.

My rating is: 90%

Should you watch it: This is some of the best acting and script writing I have seen in a while. It kept me glued to the end.

Performance of the Actors: I love Jackie in this role it was a perfect mix of the outraged spoiled daughter and the “I want to be independent” young woman. As for Mama Kulsume, again another Oscar worthy performance. The fact that we felt that something was about to happen or was happening was awesome the looks I was waiting to find out what was next.

Believe Me Pt 1,2,3

Starring: John Dumelo as Derek, Artus Frank as Abdul, Kalsoum Sinare as Jennie’s Mother Eddie Nartly as Mark, Magdaline Mensah as Jennie, Nana Akua Addo as Lisa

Genre: Drama

Overall: A dedication and religious man is accused of raping the daughter of the inspector of police. Is it true, did he do it...What could be his motive when the girl in question happens to be his girlfriend. Does the inspector have something else in mind and he is using this young man as a pawn...A must watch

My rating is: 75%

Should you watch it: Yes enough twists and turns to keep you interested.

Performance of the Actors: I think everyone was OK not great but OK. Most of part 2 consisted of Jennie’s flash back. The most real part of this movie was the fact that Jennie continued to pick the wrong guy. And the issue with the father’s infidelity and subsequent lack of help to free Derek was rushed and not explored enough. I would have loved to see more of that. Artus impressed me in this movie less of the overbearing yelling and crying and more of the smooth guy. I think I liked it.

Trinity 1, 2, 3

Starring: Starring: Nadia Buari as Barrister Naveda Daniels, Majid Michel as Barrister Dave, Kofi Adjorlolo as Macoy Yeboah , Ecow Smith Asante, Kalsoume Sinare

Genre: Drama

Overall: ‘Trinity’ tells the story of power, corruption, obsession and envy among other things that characterizes the generality of African politics.

My rating is: 40%

Should you watch it: Maybe on a sat evening waiting for your laundry to finish?

Performance of the Actors This movie stated out very good but by part three they lost me very upsetting that a director can’t keep control of the events and rushes the ending of the story line.

Who Loves Me part 1, 2 (Part 3 coming soon)

Starring: Jackie Appiah as Chantel / Jasmine, Majid Michel as David, Kaluse Sinare as Akosun, Kama Brow as Grandma Jane, Artus frank as Rick

Genre: Romance

Overall: Wealth and fame were hers for keep, but true love was hers for want. Chantel deprived herself of love; with a desperate and intended focus on her work for fear that she might die of a terminal heart disease. However, David’s sudden presence in her life was perhaps irresistible, and his mothers noble gesture echoed the idea of a pre-destined, perfect duo even further. But was this preset of a scintillating fairy tale, deserved of a happy ending?
A consummate, gripping, captivating and twisted tale of indifference, agony, love.

My rating is: 40%

Should you watch it? If only to see Majid grow a beard and Jackie in some cute outfits

Performance of the Actors: Really this is the most overly dramatic and over dramatized weak screenplay ever. Some movies do not need to be made. I can’t even comment on the acting because I know these two actors are good I’m boiling it down to script and direction. So Jackie, Majid, Kaluse and Kama Pass go and collect $200 and don’t look back!

SPOILER ALERT! ...Only a little :-D

The concept of this story is good but the drama overshadows the possibility of a good story and how unethical is that heart transplant scene. And how creepy is it when the mother professes her undying love for the child by saying that he is also her husband. And really how much more obsessive is this dude! In today’s world he would be in some deep physiological therapies. And was there ever really a choice to make between these guys? Just for the simple fact that His Mother committed suicide to save you kind of makes you indebted to be to the dude. As this story drags on I’m wondering if my strawberries are ripe enough to eat....is that bad?

Ok folks I’m almost near the end of the movie and the suffering. I really love the followers can you tell.

OMG a part 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!I hope when it comes out the torture doesn’t continue

The Prince 's bride

Starring JACKIE APPIAH, JOHN DUMELO, YVONNE NELSON, KALSOUME SINARE and GAVIVINA TAMAKLOE

This is a story of a very very handsome prince that falls in love with his date best friend. You might have guessed already the friend is  the beautiful Jackie Appiah.I like this movie because  everything is just classy from the way the prince room is decorated the way he dresses and the way all the girls work their fabulous weaves. Anyway, back to the story  the  Jakie's friend   Solange becomes extremely jealous as I will be too If the man of my dreams falls in love with my best friend..Anyways the movie is full of suspense , sadness and betrayal of course. I did not like the end so much I am thinking that there might be a 3rd part to the movie

Her Excellency

Starring: Majid Michael, Jackie Appiah and Kalsoume Sinare
This movie is about a young doctor that finds himself in a struggle with
the country Prime Minister . Jakie Appiah plays the  prime minister daughter and
acts as her lawyer. For half of the movie jackie acts like a arrogant and spoiled brat that gets
everything she wants. She will do anything to make the young man life miserable until she finds herself
in as hospital with a heart hospital.Like  I usually say I m not going to spoiled it for you but I  was not too
inpressed with Jackie s acting . The prime minister has nothing better to do  than to wonder around town giving orders, and blackmail people .Everytime her or her daughter are out of their house they are followed by 2 cars and useless men.The acting is way overdone  and  guess what they forgot to take Jakie's lenses when she was in her hospital bed.  Is it worth your time? Maybe because you kind to want  to know  how the movie ends. You can expect love ,Betrayal , Money and Power. Enjoy
