Royal Lust 1,2,3,4

Starring: Patience Ozokwor as Queen Mazulu, Livinus Nnochiri as Igwe, Emmanuella Njubuigbo as Omali, Mike Ezuruonye as Onochi, Susan Ezeuo as Chioma, Vivian Reinl as Sonia.

Genre: Drama/Comedy

Overall: There's a persistence of unfaithfulness and mistrust in this royal family. The queen is craving for romance but not from the king but one of her male servants. They both exploit the king into kidnapping him for a ransom of millions of naira. is the king also running after the maidens? The saga continues when their only son; the prince returns from overseas? Will he help solve the unfaithfulness of the palace?

The prince returns from overseas with yet another problem. The death of his mother the queen is too much for him to comprehend. He comes home with a would-be-wife whose persona is nothing to ride home about. She in question finds the heart of her wound-be-husband's father the king. Their romance creates anger and pain until the inevitable happens. who pulls the trigger and to whom is the trigger targeted.

My rating is: 70%

Should you watch it: For a good laugh and well rounded story. YES

Performance of the Actors: I think it was good, I wasn’t expecting too much from the servant roles yet it was well blended in to the story line. As for Mike you know I love ya! LOL the slapping scene was hilarious. And the shouting scene with the fiancĂ© and the sister” Try me in this palace and I will send you back to your homeland by email” LMAO!!!!! Priceless. Patience is my girl you made me laugh and the scenes and the outfits were on point. Even though part 1 & 2 were too long for me in the end they caught up with part 3 & 4. Good Job!

Princess Myra 1,2,3,4 AKA War & Romance

Starring: Desmond Elliot as Ogidi, Nonso Diobi as Ugonna, Mike Ezuronye as Ezenne, Patience Ozokwor as Queen, Biola Ige as Mira /Myra, Chukwuma Uchebgu as Baron

Genre: Romance / Drama

Overall: The mystery behind the princess is worth fight for because her beauty, splendor, prestige and majestic influence is more than what the naked eyes can see. A royal secret surrounds her but none of the men is ready to let go. They are fighting tooth and nail just to get the attention of the princess. Best friends are now dire enemies and enemies and enemies are becoming friends for the same matter. The princess is kidnapped. Who amongst the men in question is doing this?

My rating is: 5%

Should you watch it: If it’s only to see Mike, Nonso and Desmond in all their sexiness then you are good Otherwise don’t waste your time.

Performance of the Actors: Truthfully I don’t know if it was the acting, the script, the production, the direction or the entire concept of this movie but it was pure TRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Really did you really think this movie was going to fly? The initial concept was good. Three childhood friends meet up again in Nigeria and run a successful business to distinguish themselves. It looks like nothing could stop them then they meet a girl.... blah blah blah. Also going against this movie was the absolutely annoying acting of the Baron. Rally you watch too much BET if you think that is an ameriacan accent and that is the way that people speak! It was the most annoying this and I have to admit that I had to fast forward his parts. N Please do not watch this movie unless you are board or tired!

Act of Faith 1&2

Starring : PATIENCE OZOKWOR, MIKE EZURUONYE, MERCY JOHNSON

Genre: Drama/Romance

Overall: Lesley and Uchenne have been praying and fasting for the fruit of the womb, But just when they thought that God was about to answer their prayers Uchenna was raped during an armed robbery attack

Traumatized and mentally depressed due to the rape, Now she is pregnant, And all their faith is put to the test......

My rating is:80%

Should you watch it: Yes. an oldie but goodie

Performance of the Actors: Everyone in this movie was good. They played their roles well. The only scene i hated was the one after Mercy was raped and in the mental ward. I know people will manifest their shock differently but really....? Anyways Patience was on point as usual especially when she first finds out about the rape LMAO, loved it and Mike was really believable as the outraged husband. A simple movie with a good story and message for sure.

Scent Of A Woman

Starring: John Dumelo as Ben Hilary, Olu Jacbos as Chief Smith, Jim Lawson Maduike as Chief Geroge, Patience Ozokwor as Mrs Geroge, Ucher Ebere as Mrs Hilary, Mercy Johnson as Sherry Smith ,Ken Erics as JohnBull.

Genre: Drama / Romance

Overall: Ben is sent away after his father dies. He returns a successful man 5 years later it is now up to him to carry on the family legacy, But through a strange set of circumstance the company falls in to the hands of a seemingly incompetent rival. War breaks loose in the battle for control but as the saying goes all is fair in love and war.

My rating is:70%

Should you watch it: Why not I think it’s. A good Sunday Afternoon Movie.

Performance of the Actors: This is one of the first times I think my girl Mercy was very un-sexual. In the scenes between Jim and John there is no spark and no sizzle. John has disappointed me in this Movie But I forgive him he did me proud in 4 Play Why was all the acting so wooden It was like there were never really comfortable with each other and That ending Couldn’t it have been.....More Conclusive. The movie is called Sent of A Woman yet as normal the title had nothing to do with the movie. It should have been called “Corporate Takeover.” As usual and never disappointing Olu and Patience were awesome. My brother who normally doesn’t watch movies were laughing and following along with the movie.

Deadly Emotions 1, 2, 3

For all your african movies check out Africano @ the Toronto Weston Flea market 404 Old Weston Rd

Starring: Ramsey Nouah – Rocky, Patience Ozokwor – Mrs Osondu, Annabel Amanda Dilo- Annabel

Genre: Drama

Overall: Annabel, 16 is raped one fateful evening in front of her parents and younger brother by four hoodlums. The rape issue is kept a family secret until her father commits suicide. Annabel becomes self destructive as she begins to sleep indiscriminately with men. Unfortunately, the gang leader who assaulted her was a victim of chlid labor who became a hoodlum as a means to quick and easy survival. But fate again brings these two together in what turns out to be the base of a very compelling and very shocking movie.

My rating is: 30%

Should you watch it: If only for the good but unrealistic message in the movie.  This movie was too long and drawn out and apparently it was based on a true story. I bet the real story is much more compelling. I won’t give up any spoilers but really it’s not worth your time.

Performance of the Actors: On a more serious note NO they were not good. This movie was done half heartedly. The main charter Annabel was a hot mess. But the others I thought would have been good....They were not!

Fathers Blood 1&2

For all your african movies check out Africano @ the Toronto Weston Flea market
404 Old Weston Rd

Starring: Mike Ezuruonye as Mattew, Mercy Johnson as Olivia, Patience Ozokwo as Salome

Genre : Drama

Overall: Father's should do anything for their sons, but should they do the unthinkable and steal from a rich man? Well this father did just that and left a fortune for his son to start his own business when he grows up and paid for it with his blood. When the son grows older and is allowed access to this money how does he handle this hot situation? Will he become successful or will he spill his Father’s Blood?

My rating is: 90%

Should you watch it: Yes good movie and a good lesson learned.

Performance of the Actors: Everyone was good in this movie a little slow in parts but really picks up in Part 2.I have to say as a screen play writer and director and actor and singer Tchidi Chikere seems to have the Midas touch. Again my girl Mercy was great but really they either need to stop feeding her greasy foods or having her use proactive while on the set. She has a good face but I'm tired of seeing her break out from the heat and sweat and so forth. My boy Mike was holding it down in part 2 , As I have said before you have to make sure that your facial expressions are different. The "mean" look is so 60 movies ago. Nothing but love for the mother of all nollywood mothers Ms Patience Ozokwo. Please if Nollywood had the Oscars she would be the al time winner lover her in almost any role she has done.

Dickson - Seun Akindele, Magnus - Kofi Adjorlolo, Margret - Daniella Chioma

Genre : Romance, Drama

Overall: Jennifer and Michael have been married in a Wonderful and romantic relationship for 10 beautiful years. They have two wonderful children and successful careers, until one day Jennifer chances upon Michael in a restaurant with another woman then misunderstandings and confusion erupts.

Does the imagination of the bruised heart let go before it’s too late?

My rating is: 85%

Should you watch it: Yes it will teach us a few things about marriage and relationships

Performance of the Actors:
Everyone is actually good in this movie...Is it their best acting? I’ve seen better from each of these actors but the subject matter in this movies compels you to continue to watch and then actors pull it off. The really stars of this movies are Patience and Kofi’s characters Monica & Magnus. LOVE THEM! They are perfect in this role and their sub store teaches you a thing or two about a marriage that endures. Watch it and enjoy!
