Genre: Drama

Overall: With his vow to GOD fulfilled the son of the soil becomes king. It is now time to move on with his life and find a wife. But his sisters try to turn this opportunity in to the revenge their mother sought all those years past. Will destiny fall to hatred and revenge or will the king be successful in his plight?

My rating is: 70%

Should you watch it:  Yes

Performance of the Actors: Again Mike was good. Ini was very understated in this film.. Not sure if that is a good thing. Patience ...WOW what else can I say. The most annoying part of this film was the fact that there was no follow up or mention of the daughter would have loved that. Also Patience daughter was annoying not sure why but a good slap would have been justified and the husband in this role kind of seemed a little like a sly person who is not to be rusted. This actor didn't come across like he could be the father. My baby John Dumelo. Love him but hated him in this movie this charter was not used appropriately in part 3&4. Over all a good movie with a good ending.

Starring: MIKE EZURUONYE as Eric, OLU JACOBS as Nadule, PATIENCE OZOKWOR as   Ogoh, INI EDO as Esther, JOHN DUMELO as Osondu, JOYCE KALU as Nkiru

Genre: Drama

Overall: One man's desperate need for a male son caused so much rage, hurt and revenge among his children after he passed away that the remaining family members banished their brother from the village hoping that he will die. But fate is a funny thing and the man’s destiny turned around. Disaster has struck and the family has tried to find a way out. It seems now the brother that was banished all those years ago hold the key to their survival. Destiny has come to fulfill it course............Who pays the price of honesty?

 My rating is: 75%

 Should you watch it: Yes

Performance of the Actors:  Mike is one of my favorite actors in Nollywood. I really have to say that this role surprised me. I feel that in the past he has been type cast because he has the "angry" "spoiled brat" face that he usually does all the time. This film was different although slowing his speech may have on purpose to portray the character as a wise thoughtful man his expression and emotions in this film were on point. He was perfect for the role. As usual Patience was awesome. I love this woman in any role she plays. I think her acting brings out the best in the other actors making it for a good film. It's a good story line and could have been left there, but in true Nollywood fashion there is a part 3&4 under a different name. No spoilers this time around for sure worth your time and money.

My fantasy 1,2,4&4

For all your african movies check out Africano @ the Toronto Weston Flea market
404 Old Weston Rd

Starring: Tonto Dikeh, John Dumelo

Genre: Warning Not for Kids  , love ,sex , betrayal

Overall :Rose (Tonto Dikeh) was vibrant, so expectant, and relishing the idea of finally getting married to the love of her life. But all the fantasies turned illusions as a result of her fathers indiscretions, an inexcusable act of thievery. To recompense for his mistake, he had to trade in his daughter (Rose) to Sir Rufus; the beast of a man who had no emotions, moral and ethical considerations. Her life turns from happy to hell, and it was just a matter of time before she caved in to the desires of her roaring devourer.

I don't even know where to  start with this movie. I was amazed as to how they pushed it to far in this movies. I understand that  its something new but man . ....... Anyways the movie is too long and the ending is disappointing .  I will not give you any Spoiler on this one  ,so have fun

LOVE & SEX Part 1&2

For all your african movies check out Africano @ the Toronto Weston Flea market
404 Old Weston Rd

Starring: GAVIVINA TAMAKLOE, NII SAKA BROWN, IRENE OPARE

Genre: Drama/Romantic comedy

Overall: In a camouflaged world where the true colors of a person cannot be judged, the act of combing through the lots to find the right partner becomes a challenge. When Paa got cheated by his girlfriend, he wanted to do away with his dejection by whiling away time with a prostitute (Naki). To his utmost surprise however, Naki was not willing to render the expected service but rather help him recover from his weak state of mind. Her gesture got him perplexed and decided to find out the true nature of the person he’s just encountered

My rating is: 90%

Should you watch it: For sure for a good laugh

Performance of the Actors: You know it was a low budget flick  I mean the cars that still has the wax writting on it cause it was still for sale and the switch from the HTC phone to the Iphone when it was supposed tobe the same phone these are things I noticed but everyone still acted fairly decent in this movie and I enjoyed it.From the opening scene I’m laughing because the girl is less than impressed. Plus really prostitutes having regulars I mean your open for business at any time. The scene with the bad dream is sooooo hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m glad the prostitutes use condoms and took a stand against unprotected sex.

Ok part 2 is just as funny the Christian intervention is too much and all to familiure. Remember my fellow bloggers render your heart and not your garment.

Hated the ending could have been better for a fun funny movie. But over all I like this story it’s an interesting point of view
